After installing WordPress and the Lunex theme, it’s important to configure some basic settings to get your website up and running smoothly.
Step 1: Set Site Title and Tagline
- Go to your WordPress Dashboard.
- Navigate to:
Settings → General - Update your Site Title (your website’s name) and Tagline (a short description or slogan).
- Scroll down and click Save Changes.
Step 2: Set Home and Blog Pages
- Navigate to:
Settings → Reading - Under Your homepage displays, choose:
- A static page if you want a custom homepage.
- Select the page you want to use as your Homepage.
- Select the page to display your Posts page (your blog page).
- Click Save Changes.
Step 3: Configure Discussion Settings
- Navigate to:
Settings → Discussion - Adjust comment settings according to your preference:
- Enable or disable comments on posts and pages.
- Control comment moderation and notifications.
- Click Save Changes.
